Description

The Employee Compliance Hotline™ ("Hotline") is offered to employers for the purpose of providing even the most timid employee an easy-to-use solution to report unlawful harassment, including sexual harassment and other workplace concerns such as discrimination, retaliation, safety issues, theft, workplace violence, medical abuse, and fraud. It is available 24-hours a day, 365 days a year in both English and Spanish, using either Interactive Voice Response ("IVR") technology or a live compliance specialist at the employer's choice.

In the live operator version, calls are handled immediately, and written reports are delivered to the company within 24 hours. In the IVR version, when an employee places a call to the hotline, a report is generated. A trained expert then contacts the complainant by telephone within 24 hours, and verifies the information as reported to the Hotline. Within 48 hours, the employer is provided with a detailed report of facts in the verified complaint.


The Hotline provides clear and incontrovertible "courtroom ready" evidence that a complaint has been made and that the caller was contacted. At the conclusion of the initial call, the caller is provided with a unique Confirmation Number that confirms his/her call to the Employee Compliance Hotline™. The simplicity of the Hotline eliminates any excuse for failing to report unlawful workplace concerns, thus providing one of the two affirmative defenses available for the employer where NO adverse employment action has been taken by management.
